James "Jim" L. Newhall Passes Away at 91
James "Jim" L. Newhall, 91, of Marblehead, entered eternal rest with his niece Margaret Newhall on May 4, 2022. He was husband of the late Louise (Regan) Newhall. Born in Lynn, he was the son of the late Charles E. and Margret (Cronin) Newhall.
He was a graduate of Lynn Vocational High School, class of 1949. During the Korean War he served in the Army Ordinance in Aberdeen proving Grounds, MD, as a machinist instructor. Jim was a member of Marblehead Yacht Club for 66 years.
He is survived by his niece and nephews, Joan (Newhall) Sherman, Charles E. Newhall and John W. Newhall Jr., and his good friend Kathy. He was the brother of the late Charles E. Newhall and John W Newhall.
His Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, September 17th at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady Star of the Sea Church, 85 Atlantic Avenue, Marblehead. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in memory to: Marblehead Animal Shelter, Friends of Marblehead's Abandoned Animals, 44 Village St., Marblehead, MA 01945.
