Marblehead Racial Justice Team to Host next “Conversations on Race” Event on Monday

The Marblehead Racial Justice Team (MRJT) will host their next “Conversations on Race” event on Monday, April 24th from 7:00-8:30 pm at the Marblehead Museum at 170 Washington St.  To celebrate National Poetry month, the MRJT has a special session planned, featuring local students who will share their love of poetry. Attendees will have the opportunity to hear from young people who will read their favorite poems, and discuss why poetry matters especially to those who have often been unheard. Attendees will also learn how poetry helps us to better express ourselves, make sense of the world and our place in it.

MRJT Conversations on Race welcomes diverse opinions expressed respectfully.
