MHD First Girl BSA Troop Open House (Saturday, 9/17 fr 3 to 5 pm at Goldthwait Reservation

Marblehead is home to one of the nations first Girl BSA Scout Troops  - Marblehead Troop 79G, founded in the midst of the pandemic to provide pioneering young women with opportunity to get outside. Having just finished over 100 miles in the backcountry of the Rocky mountains, the girls are hosting an open house at Goldthwait Reservation to encourage everyone to get off their phones and live life to its fullest having outdoor adventures throughout New England. If you are interested in meeting the girls, learn more about Scouting please join us this weekend. We are looking for some adventurous young women (ages 10 to 17) to join the crew. Swing by on Saturday from 3 to 5 for smores and tall tails from our adventures in the backcountry. Boys are always welcome to attend as well. Hope to see you there!
