Marblehead Festival of Arts Offers $3,000 Scholarships to High School Seniors

The Marblehead Festival of Arts (MFoA) is offering $3,000 scholarships to local high school seniors who  are pursuing collegiate arts education. Students, who may attend any high school but must reside or  attend school in Marblehead, are encouraged to apply for the scholarship by the deadline of April 13th.  The application can be found on the Marblehead Festival of Arts website

The MFoA scholarships are proudly awarded to foster and encourage further exploration and education  in the arts, including fine, creative, literary, performing arts or music or film production. “For over 60  years, the Festival of Arts has provided a forum for the expression of the arts in our community. We  can’t think of a better way to keep our arts traditions alive than to foster continuing arts education for  our talented students,” shares Jodi-Tatiana Charles, President of the Marblehead Festival of Arts.

In consideration of scholarship awards, the MFoA Scholarship Committee reviews general academic  and arts achievement, activities both in and outside of school (arts-related and other), honors and/or  special citations received related to intended future vocation and financial need. All information is  kept confidential.

The Marblehead Festival of Arts has awarded over $100,000 in scholarship funds to students since  1986. Award recipients have attended colleges and arts schools across the country, pursuing their  passion for the arts with the help of MFoA.
