Marblehead Festival of Arts Announces Exciting Additions to its Spring and Summer Events

Proudly in its 57th year, the Marblehead Festival of Arts is excited to announce new summer events for this year's Arts Festival, taking place from July 1st to July 4th. The Festival is a beloved tradition in the community, and this year's lineup promises to be even more exciting and diverse than ever before.

One of the new events at this year's festival is the inaugural Festival 5k Fun Run, which will take runners and walkers on a tour of Marblehead's beautiful town and celebrate kinesiology, the study of the art and science of movement. The Festival 5k is a unique opportunity for participants to experience the charm and beauty of Marblehead while actively engaging members of the community.

Another new addition to the festival is the Hidden Orbs event, which will feature beautifully painted orbs hidden throughout shops and restaurants of Marblehead. Hidden Orbs promises to be a fun and festive addition to the festival, providing visitors with the opportunity to check out Marblehead’s wonderful retail shops and restaurants and racing to find the hidden treasures.

"We are thrilled to be adding these new events to the Marblehead Festival of Arts lineup this year," said Festival Directors of Events, Sylvia Kane and Lindsey Feinswog. "We are always looking for ways to make the festival more engaging and inclusive for the Marblehead community and our visitors, and we believe that these new events will add to the already incredible experience of the Festival."

The Marblehead Festival of Arts is a celebration of the arts in all its forms, featuring art exhibits, performances, workshops, and more. This year's festival will also include the popular Artisans' Marketplace, the Street Festival, and the ever-popular Concerts @ Crocker Park, featuring a diverse lineup of musical acts including the rhythm-driven sounds of Krewe de Roux.

"We can't wait to welcome visitors to this year’s Festival of Arts,” shares Festival President, Jodi-Tatiana Charles. “Our team of volunteers have been working hard to add a new spin to our current events, along with new events that bring our residents and business owners together to celebrate the arts."
