“Oceans of Possibilities” Exhibit Extended! Discover Paintings by Coastal New England Artists

On View through Friday, August 12, 2022

Closing Reception: Wednesday, August 10, 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Virginia A. Carten Gallery, Abbot Public Library

In this small, specially curated exhibit, discover paintings by coastal New England artists including Michael Graves, a nationally recognized plein-air artist; Michael Marinin, who works with oils on copper; Christopher Volpe, whose paintings approach nature as a site of introspection and metaphor for intangible feelings and ideas; Pete Hocking, whose work focuses on personal narrative, place, poetics, and political consciousness; oil paintings by Todd Bonita; and landscapes by local Marblehead artist Debra Freeman-Highberger.

Meet Exhibit Director Michael Leykin at a public closing reception on Wednesday, August 10 from 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm. The exhibit has been extended through Friday, August 12.
