Issues with MBTA Petition to Remove Trees
I am appalled that the MBTA is petitioning the town to have
the 2 flowering cherry trees on Pleasant street near the corner of Smith St
removed. I just found the notice ON the trees of a hearing on Wednesday
night at 7pm at Abbot Hall. I hope concerned citizens will attend the
meeting to voice their disapproval .
In these days, when people are concerned about climate change, and helping to
beautifying the town by planting More trees, it makes NO sense to me to be
removing these trees.
Letters of protest will be accepted on or before this date by the Select
Board, Abbot Hall, 188 Washington St., if you are unable to attend.

To you Rep Armini, and all Politicians, I say, you should remember the words of Abraham Lincoln, “that government of the people, by the people, and for the people, shall not perish from the earth.”
I’m thrilled the transfer station is here in town, I would just appreciate it a bit more if I felt I was receiving the level of service for which I believe I’m paying.
I cannot think of a more appropriate message than the “Stand with Israel” email sent by Acting Superintendent Michele Cresta, and I commend her.
