Vote to Reinstate Homan and Burke as Marblehead Light Commissioners
I hope we will vote to reinstate Homan and Burke as Marblehead Light Commissioners. From October 2022 to May 2023, my light bill doubled. During that time, the basic service charge went from $4.25 to $11.25 (tripled)! Why? The kilowatt hours went from .1425 to .1969. Why did we disrupt the one thing in this town that was working? Once upon a time we had cheap and reliable electricity. Why mess with it? “If it ain’t broke don’t fix it.” Let’s go back to Homan and Burke – a winning team.

This bill represents a much-needed step towards ensuring the safety and security of our community while respecting the rights of responsible gun owners.
To you Rep Armini, and all Politicians, I say, you should remember the words of Abraham Lincoln, “that government of the people, by the people, and for the people, shall not perish from the earth.”
I’m thrilled the transfer station is here in town, I would just appreciate it a bit more if I felt I was receiving the level of service for which I believe I’m paying.
I cannot think of a more appropriate message than the “Stand with Israel” email sent by Acting Superintendent Michele Cresta, and I commend her.
