Longest Day of the Year Not Just for Election - June 21, 2022
Before voters headed to the polls for what would prove to be a very late night, some dedicated early risers headed to Beach Bluff Park at Preston Beach, on the Marblehead/Swampscott line. In an annual tradition, the Clifton Improvement Association hosts the Summer Solstice celebration at sunrise. This year did not disappoint, as a stunning sun came up over the horizon as attendees gathered around the Sun Circle, a sculpture installation created by architect D. Bruce Greenwald.
